Spectra Max 246 Hybrid HID / High Output Fluorescent Fixtures combine the red spectrum of HP Sodium light with the blue spectrum of T5 high-output fluorescent lamps to provide a complete high output light spectrum your plants will thrive under. The Spectra Max 246 incorporates a 150 watt HP Sodium high intensity lamp with four 24 watt high output fluorescent lamps to provide the ideal color spectrum for plant growth in a fixture that provides excellent light uniformity over a compact area.
Perfect for starting seeds, or growing full size plants in a small area, the Spectra Max 246 Hybrid HID / High Output Fluorescent Fixture measures 23.125 inches long by 14.25 inches wide by 4.125 inches tall, making it ideal for use in vertically restricted growing areas, such as under benches or on plant stands. The 150 watt HP Sodium fixture produces a whopping 16,000 initial lumens of light while the four 24 watt high output fluorescents each produce 2,000 initial lumens for a combined initial lumen output of 24,000 using a miserly 246 watts of electricity.
High output fluorescent lamps have a very low heat factor which allows the fixture to be hung extremely close to plant canopy, thus increasing usable light levels. The Spectra Max exclusive reflector is made of imported German 95% reflective aluminum to drive every available lumen of light to your plants.
White in color, Spectra Max fixtures are constructed of a durable powder coated steel body and have integrated louvered slots for extremely cool operation. State-of-the-art, solid state electronic fluorescent ballasts have no copper windings and do not emit heat, noise or vibration. This unique design places ballasts outside lamps (instead of above lamps as in competitive fixtures) for longer fixture life.
Features include 2 backlit ON/OFF switches, which control the 150 watt HP Sodium fixture independently from the fluorescent bulbs, allowing you to operate the sodium and fluorescents at the same time or separately. Chrome V hangers and 4 eye bolts provide for easy hanging from the ceiling or a plant rack. Sunlight Supply Spectra Max Fixtures come complete with a 2 year rebuild or replace factory warranty on the fixture and a 1 year warranty against failure on lamps.
Spectra Max fixtures include a medium base 150 watt HP Sodium bulb (2200 degrees kelvin) and 4 blue spectrum (6500 degrees kelvin) 24 watt high output fluorescent bulbs, hanging hardware and complete instructions. Ships in two boxes. System includes free 24 hour grounded timer.
