This lamp operates on standard ANSI S52 ballast, and is for use with 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium systems only.

The Plantmax® Dual Arc lamp combines the vegetative growth spectrum of metal halide (MH) with the high power reproductive and flowering spectrum of high pressure sodium (HPS) in the same bulb.
Designed for use in 1000 watt HPS ballasts, the Plantmax® Dual Arc lamp produces an impressive 110,000 initial lumens with a mean lamp life of 10,000 hours using a combination of a 600 watt HPS lamp in the same jacket as a 400 watt MH lamp. Kelvin temperature measures 3,000 degrees providing excellent color rendering while enjoying the enhanced fruiting spectrum of high pressure sodium.
