This lamp operates on standard ANSI S52 ballast, and is for use with 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium systems only. |

The SOLARMAX "ONE" 1000 Watt Dual Arc Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium Lamp is the first of it's kind! Lamp manufacturer's have pursued the ideal spectral output for plant growth for years. The biggest advancements made in HID sources for plant growth was to enhance the inherent deficiencies of either HP Sodium (not enough blue) or Metal Halide (not enough orange / red). While these specialized lamps are much better than standard "commodity" lamps, the fact is that neither technology can be altered enough to be truly optimum for plant growth.
