Clonex® Clone Solution contains specific micro nutrients and root enhancing agents, carefully formulated to initiate and nourish new root cells.
Unlike competitive products, Clonex® Clone Solution is highly concentrated. For general use, dilute at a rate of 10ml (2 teaspoons) Clonex Clone Solution per 1 liter (1 quart) of water or 2 1/2 tablespoons per gallon.
After mixing, adjust pH to appropriate level (5.5 to 6.5). Soak rooting media. Allow for adequate drainage to avoid water logging. Continue with the above dilution rate throughout the entire propagation cycle. Moisten rooting media every second day or as needed.
For foliar use, dilute at a rate of 5ml (1 teaspoon) per liter (quart) of water. Spray in low light conditions to avoid leaf burn. Best results are achieved when applied prior to the onset of "light" hours. Use every second day. Use freshly diluted solution only with each application.

This long trusted standby of gardeners contains 4 growth regulators for better rooting and a built-in fungicide to control damping off and other soil borne diseases. Bontone® Rooting Powder speeds root development and is ideal for rooting houseplants and ground covers.
Recommended for the rooting treatment of many houseplants and Azaleas (evergreen types), Chrysanthemums, Chinese Evergreens, Dracenas, Geraniums, Hydrangeas, Ivy, Pachysandra, Philodendron, Poinsettias, and a wide range of other plants.
Select cuttings from a vigorous healthy plant. Tips should be between 2 and 8 inches long. Cuttings should be from stems that are brittle. Cut just below a node or leaf with a sharp knife. Remove any leaves or flowers at the base of the cutting. |

| Before dipping in Bontone® Rooting Powder, smooth stemmed cuttings should be slightly moistened. Cuttings with rough stems should not be moistened before treatment. Dip into powder to a depth that will cover the stem lightly to a point slightly higher than the cutting will be set in the rooting medium. To remove excess powder, tap on the edge of the container, letting excess fall back into the unused rooting powder.
Any rooting medium may be used, but a mixture of sand and peat potting soil has been found very satisfactory for most vegetative reproduction. Be sure that the trench or hole in the soil is large enough so that the powder is not rubbed off when inserting the cuttings. Firm soil around cutting to avoid air pockets. Keep rooting medium moderately moist until roots are established. Treated cuttings should not have less than a 60 degree F. temperature.
Wide mouth 1.25 ounce bottle treats approximately 2,750 average cuttings. |

Applicators and other handlers must wear: long-sleeved shirt and long pants, chemical resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyvinyl chloride, or viton, and shoes plus socks.
Directions for using the dilution cup: As soon as possible after taking cuttings, prepare a dilute solution of Dip 'N Grow as follows: To avoid spilling, use scissors to cut the corner of the 0.2 ounce packet and carefully pour Dip 'N Grow into the dilution cup, or pour from the 2 ounce bottle to the concentrate line of the dilution cup supplied.
For hardwoods, add water to the 5X dilution line. For semi-hardwoods, add water to the 10X dilution line. For softwoods or succulents, add water to the 20X dilution line. If you are doing more than one type of cutting start with the hardwoods so that you may dilute the solution to a semi-hardwood or a softwood dilution level later. Dip the basal end (bottom) of the cutting approximately one inch into the dilute Dip 'N Grow for 3 to 5 seconds. Following dipping, place cuttings into planting medium. (Vermiculite, perlite, pumice, or any coarse planting medium that drains well, works best).
