Green Pad
Carbon Dioxide
Generator
Hang The Green Pad up high in your plant grow room, mist with water, and beneficial carbon dioxide (CO2) will start falling on your plant canopy, making your plants grow faster and more vigorously.

Green Pads are ideal for smaller growing areas. One or two Green Pads each week in a 4 foot by 4 foot by 8 foot area can increase the carbon dioxide levels to 1000 parts per million or higher. Simply misting the pad before closing the room significantly increases CO2 concentrations.

Larger rooms up to 12 feet by 15 feet by 8 feet may require between 2 and 4 Green Pads per week, depending on your air exchange and frequency of misting.

To maintain efficiency, change your Green Pads on a weekly basis. Leave the older Green Pads in your room for 2 additional weeks before discarding, as they will continue to emit smaller amounts of carbon dioxide.

Keeping the Green Pads exposed to humidity or light moisture will maximize CO2 release.

Green Pads are also used by growers using CO2 tanks as an

Green Pad Junior CO2 Generators
emergency backup CO2 source for when tanks run dry. Weighing just a few ounces each, Green Pads are much lighter, safer, and easier to handle than bulky CO2 tanks or heat-producing generators.

Do you want your cuttings to root faster? Try Green Pad Juniors in your propagation humidity dome! They work just like regular Green Pads, but are smaller and designed to work in propagation tray and humidity dome environments.

How much humidity does it take to activate the Green Pad?
It takes about 35% relative humidity or above to activate and produce a measured release of carbon dioxide (CO2). Higher humdity or frequent light water misting increases activation.

How many Green Pads do I need for my grow room?
The Green Pad works best in small to mid-size indoor hobby gardens. Use at least 1 to 2 pads per 250 to 500 cubic feet of growing area. Add more Green Pads to increase CO2 Levels for larger rooms.

What level of carbon dioxide in PPM can I expect when using the Green Pad?
Green Pad tests in a room 10 feet by 10 feet by 10 feet (1000 cubic feet) with 3 Green Pads at 60% humidity and minimal air exchange produced over 1000 parts per million.

The amount of fresh air exchange plays a major role in the containment of CO2 and the levels maintained in the growing environment. To maximize performance, misting the pads prior to closing the room will increase concentrations.

What about the Green Pad Junior? Do cuttings need carbon dioxide?
Often overlooked and underappreciated, adding CO2 to your propagation dome promotes faster rooting and healthier starting plants. Inexpensive and extremly easy to use, Green Pad Jr.'s have become the "insiders" trick to increase cloning success!

How long will the Green Pads last in the package?
Use only the Green Pads you need at a time. Keep unused pads dry and resealed in the original bag, and they will be effective for up to one year.

Why haven't I heard of Green Pads before?
This is a new technology that has now been proven effective in multiple tests for the indoor garden industry.
