These very flexible high-output fluorescent fixtures utilize lamps that have an extremely high lumen per watt rating compared to standard fluorescent bulbs, making them extremely suitable for indoor plant cultivation purposes. |

These extremely versatile single-tube fixtures can be hung just about anywhere, in just about any vertical or horizontal direction. They are just as useful intalled under a kitchen cabinet for a kitchen herb garden as they are installed under greenhouse benches for supplemental lighting in the greenhouse.
An optional bracket system (available below) allows 2 Sun BlazeTM Strip fluorescent fixtures to be mounted together for 2-tube applications. Alternatively, use the optional aluminum reflectors (available below) to drive even more usable light to your plants.
These are the only UL Listed high-output T5 strip lights available for plant growing applications.
Available in 2 extremely compact and convenient sizes, the 2-Foot Sun BlazeTM Strip HO T5 Fluorescent Fixture measures 23.75 inches long by 1 inch wide by 1.75 inches tall while the 4-Foot Sun BlazeTM Strip HO T5 Fluorescent Fixture measures 47.5 inches long by 1 inch wide by 1.75 inches tall.
The 2-Foot Sun BlazeTM Strip includes a 24 watt, 22-inch long high-output T5 fluorescent tube that produces 2,000 initial lumens of natural 6500K light, perfect for plant growth applications. This works out to 83.33 lumens produced per watt of energy consumed. By comparison, a Gro-Lux 20-watt, F20 wide spectrum lamp produces a mere 750 lumens, or 37.5 lumens per watt. Up to 12 2-Foot Sun Blaze Strips can be daisy chained together to run off a single plug.
The 4-Foot Sun BlazeTM Strip includes a 54-watt, 45-inch long, high-output T5 fluorescent tube that produces 5,000 initial lumens, or 92.59 lumens produced per watt of energy consumed. By comparison, a standard 40-watt, F40 cool white lamp produces a mere 1260 lumens, or 31.5 lumens per watt. Up to 6 4-Foot Sun BlazeTM Strips can be daisy chained together to run off a single plug.
High-output fluorescent lamps have a very low heat factor which allows the fixture to be hung extremely close to the plant canopy, thus significantly increasing usable light levels. Economically priced, these fixtures are low profile, sleek and easy to hang. Measuring less than 2 inches tall, these fixtures are ideally suited for growing in areas where vertical space is limited.
Fixtures feature a 6-foot long power cord and a convenient on/off switch, a state-of-the-art built-in electronic ballast, a durable aluminum housing, complete mounting hardware and a 4-inch long jumper cable to facilitate daisy chaining multiple fixtures.
Each Sun BlazeTM Strip fixture comes complete with a single 6500K all-purpose growing tube. All-purpose 6500K growing tubes are ideal for most general plant growing applications (sorry, no substitutions). Optional warm 3000K flowering tubes are available separately below should you choose to utilize a warm spectrum tube, which is better for fruiting and flowering plants. 1-year rebuild or replace factory warranty on fixture. 1-year warranty against failure on lamps. |
