High-output T5 fluorescent lamps have a very low heat factor which allows the fixture to be hung extremely close to plant canopy, greatly increasing usable light levels while significantly improving plant growth.
These kits are offered with a variety of different 4-foot long fixtures and growing tubes. Choose between the value-priced Sunlight Supply Sun Blaze fixtures in a 4-tube or 8-tube configuration; the heavy-duty commercial New Wave fixtures in either a 2-tube or 4-tube configuration, or the high-tech Tek-Light fixtures that combine exceptional quality with sleek styling in your choice of the 2-tube or 4-tube models. You can also choose between cool white 6500K tubes that work great for starting seeds, growing lettuce, spinach, herbs and other leafy plants; 3000K warm white tubes that boost fruiting and flowering in plants; or an equal combination of the two for the ultimate blend of light for exceptional all-purpose performance.
The overall width of the Sun Stand 2 is 60 inches and features adjustable hanger shuttles that spread from 12 inches to 48 inches apart in 3 inch increments. The height of the stand is easily adjustable between 52 and 88 inches tall, which makes it perfect for growing your plants from seed to harvest!
The included Sunlifts allow you to easily raise and lower your 2- or 4-tube fixture to provide the maximum amount of light possible to your plants. For systems with larger 8-tube fixtures, we recommend purchasing a pair of rope ratchet hangers, not included, and available here. |
