High Pressure Sodium (HPS) Replacement Bulbs
High intensity discharge bulbs are system specific, They should not be burned in any fixture other than the one they were designed for. You cannot use these bulbs in standard lamps. Except for special conversion bulbs, high pressure sodium bulbs can only be burned in a high pressure sodium fixture of the same wattage.
