Inside, is Hydrofarm's incredible new multi-faceted computer designed specular aluminum reflector interior. The full coverage interior is the most efficient design available today and utilizes the world's finest specular aluminum, imported direct from Europe -- that is 99.85% pure and carries a 95% reflectivity factor.
This state-of-the-art, extremely efficient computer designed reflector configuration puts more light to your plants with an absolute minimum of wasted output. An easy slide-in tempered lens with convenient lens retainer helps keep bulb clean and cooling efficiency high.

The flexible cooling options of Hydrofarm's Daystar Standard Reflector allow you to redirect or exhaust excess heat by adding the LGCKT2 Cooling Kit (purchase below), flanges that bolt onto the sides of the reflector for efficient fan-powered exhaust cooling or heat redirection, including the capability to exhaust multiple lamps in-line through a single ActiveAir exhaust fan.
Unlike most reflector designs, the DayStar Standard Reflector cooling flange positions are located on the sides of the reflector, as opposed to the ends. This positioning can be especially convenient for cooling several lamps with a single exhaust fan if you are running multiple units in a side-by-side configuration.

The Hydrofarm Light System Cooling Adaptors allow you to exhaust or redirect heat straight from the reflector when connected to an ActiveAir Exhaust Fan. These versitile adaptors accept four inch air ducting for efficient cooling of enclosed growing areas such as hobby greenhouses.
The Light System Cooling Adaptors fit all vents on the Radiant Reflector, all vents on the Radiant Remote Ballast, all vents on the DayStar Reflector, all vents on Sunburst Compact systems, and the top and rear vents of the Super Grow Wing Reflector (does not fit front louvered vent on SGW).
Kit includes two 4 inch rectangular flanges, one rectangular vent cover, and all necessary mounting hardware. |

Reflector Hanging System
This hot new hanging system makes adjusting the height of your lamp reflector a snap! Provides easy vertical control of reflector position to maximize growth with proper light distance. Smooth up and down motion with very little effort required, yet your reflector will stay precisely at the height you determine.
Each reflector hanger will hold a maximum weight of 11 pounds. Two hangers are required for each reflector, with a maximum reflector weight of 22 pounds. Each kit includes 2 SunRise Hangers and stud hooks.
