To use the Powerhouse Daystar AC Convertible MH/HPS lamp system as a metal halide, simply set the toggle switch to Metal Halide (MH) and insert the included AgroSun Gold metal halide bulb. Switching to the red spectrum of HP Sodium is as simple as changing the bulb to the included Hortilux HP Sodium bulb and changing the toggle switch to HP Sodium (HPS).
All systems include the Radiant horizontal reflector with full specular aluminum reflector interior (9 1/2 inches high (not including hangers) by 21 inches wide by 21 inches long); AgroSun Gold Halide bulb; EYE Hortilux Sodium bulb; Powerhouse Convertible Remote Ballast enclosure (7.5 inches by 8.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall, 13.5 inches tall including handle) with 8 foot grounded power cord; 15 foot lamp cable with in-line detachable patented Lock and Seal System; hanging hardware; full instructions and lighting recommendations; full 8-year extended warranty (bulbs carry a one-year manufacturers warranty). The Hydrofarm Light System Cooling Adaptors allow you to exhaust or redirect heat straight from the reflector when connected to an ActiveAir Exhaust Fan. These versitile adaptors accept four inch air ducting for efficient cooling of enclosed growing areas such as hobby greenhouses.
The Light System Cooling Adaptors fit all vents on the Radiant Reflector, all vents on the Radiant Remote Ballast, all vents on the DayStar Reflector, all vents on Sunburst Compact systems, and the top and rear vents of the Super Grow Wing Reflector (does not fit front louvered vent on SGW).
Kit includes two 4 inch rectangular flanges, one rectangular vent cover, and all necessary mounting hardware. |

Reflector Hanging System
This hot new hanging system makes adjusting the height of your lamp reflector a snap! Provides easy vertical control of reflector position to maximize growth with proper light distance. Smooth up and down motion with very little effort required, yet your reflector will stay precisely at the height you determine.
Each reflector hanger will hold a maximum weight of 11 pounds. Two hangers are required for each reflector, with a maximum reflector weight of 22 pounds. Each kit includes 2 SunRise Hangers and stud hooks.
