AutoPot
Easy 2 Grow Kit
The ultimate easy-grow self-watering planters. Auto Pots are plant driven systems that automatically provide water and nutrients to your plant as required using only gravity! No pumps are required.

Very simply, you pot your plant up in any suitable growing medium, such as a quality soilless potting mix, a 50/50 coco and soilless blend, or straight perlite. Then connect the AutoPots to the included 12.5 gallon reservoir, placed higher than the AutoPot, with the included tubing. The Easy2Grow Kit does the rest!

The Easy2Grow Kit works great with tomatoes, sweet and chili peppers, cucumbers, eggplant and more!

The patented AQUAValve that is included with each AutoPot kit automatically governs the level of water fed to each plant and actually produces an ideal environment for the root zone by allowing the roots to dry out a little between waterings, which draws air into the root zone for unsurpassed aeration and growth rates for a passive hydroponic self-watering planter.

The Easy2Grow Kit is a complete growing system, providing the user with everything they need to set up and start growing. The kit is ideal for indoors, greenhouses and outdoors; it will water and feed your plants for up to four weeks and is suitable for a variety of plants, ornamental and edible.

Extremely easy to set up and use, each Easy2Grow Kit comes complete with a large 47 liter (12.4 US liquid gallons) tank with cover; two (2) 8.5 liter (1.93 US dry gallons) square pots; the dual AutoPot Tray (2 cavities) and AQUAvalve cover, 1 AQUAvalve; 1.5 meters (5 feet) of 6mm (1/4in) supply tubing; 2 Root Control Discs; 2 Marix Discs; Ionic plant nutrients; one (1) reservoir filter and complete instructions. All components fit neatly into the reservoir for off season storage.

Then connect the Dual AutoPots to any reservoir or tank you provide, placed higher than the AutoPot, with the included tubing. The AutoPots do the rest! AutoPots are ideal for indoors, greenhouses and outdoors; it will water and feed your plants for up to four weeks and is suitable for a variety of plants, ornamental and edible.

Each Dual AutoPot Tray with Pots includes two (2) 8.5 liter (1.93 US dry gallons) square pots; the dual AutoPot Tray (2 cavities) and AQUAvalve cover, 1 AQUAvalve; 1.5 meters (5 feet) of 6mm (1/4in) supply tubing; 2 Root Control Discs; 2 Marix Discs; and complete instructions. 8.5 liter pots measure 10 inches square by 8 inches tall, tray measures 23 inches by 11 inches by 3 inches.

Each Single AutoPot Tray with Pot includes one oversize (1) 15 liter (3.41 US dry gallons) square pot; the Single AutoPot Tray (1 cavities) and AQUAvalve cover, 1 AQUAvalve; 1.5 meters (5 feet) of 6mm (1/4in) supply tubing; 1 Root Control Disc; 1 Marix Disc; and complete instructions. 15 Liter pot measures 10 inches square by 12 inches tall, tray measures 14 inches by 10 inches by 3 inches.

AQUAValve
The patented AQUAValve automatically governs the level of water fed to each plant and actually produces an ideal environment for the root zone by allowing the roots to dry out a little between waterings, which draws air into the root zone for unsurpassed aeration and growth rates for a passive hydroponic self-watering planter.

The AquaValve is not just a simple float switch, which would maintain a constant level of fluid. If it did behave that way, the plants would quickly become waterlogged and would perform very badly. The AquaValve allows the water level to drop right down, allowing air to be drawn into the root zone, before refilling just as the plant requires it. This wet/dry cycle is an exact copy of natural systems and plants respond with vigorous growth and superb performance. Now available by itself for the hobby tinkerer or replacement.

47 Liter Reservoir & Cover
The AutoPot Easy2Grow 47 Liter (12.4 gallons) Reservoir with Cover sold separately. Has grommeted hole at bottom of reservoir that accepts standard 1/4 inch spaghetti tubing. Reservoir measures 15 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 24 inches tall. Cover fits snugly on top to keep debris out and evaporation minimal.

Air Dome
The AirDome has been designed to increase the amount of air around the root zone in the Easy2Grow pot.

If you are lucky enough to have power in your greenhouse, this little device can increase your yields by as much as 130%.

The AirDome is very simple to use once assembled, which takes about 30 seconds. The AirDome is placed in the bottom of an Easy2Grow pot at the time of planting, which is then covered with planting mix and connected to any exterior air pump (available separately here).

Air is forced through the blue bubble piping in the AirDome, which aerates water in the tray, increasing the amount of oxygen available to the roots of the plants, increasing growth patterns as a result.

To maximize the effectiveness of the AirDome, use a lightweight, "fluffy", potting mix. The manufacturer recommends a mix of 50% compost and 50% perlite. Peat based mixes are not recommended as they will compact, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the AirDome.

Use one AirDome per Easy2Grow Pot. The Easy2Grow AirDome is an option and is not included with Easy2Grow kits.

6mm Top Hat Grommet
The 6mm Top Hat Grommet provides a water tight connection using 6mm pipe with the 30 ltr & 47 ltr tanks. The 6mm Top Hat Grommet is positioned at the bottom of the tank, by firstly drilling a 10mm hole. The grommet is then inserted into the hole and a length of 6mm pipe is then pushed through the grommet. Push the tube through the grommet so that you can see the tube protruding inside the tank. Sold by the individual grommet.

Root Control Discs Pack/8
The AutoPot Root Control Discs are designed to fit the 1-Pot system, the Easy2Grow Kit & the 2-Pot extension trays that extend the Easy2Grow Kit. These discs are black & gold in color and are placed in the tray underneath the pot, gold face up.

The purpose of the Root Control Disc is to prevent roots from leaving the pot & heading towards the AQUAvalve. They are very effective due to the special metallic gold coating. Please note that roots even though they are tender have the ability to go through concrete, therefore it is wise to occasionally lift the pot to see if any have managed to escape the barrier. If so you can simply cut away the roots with a pair of scissors. This will in no way harm the plant. Although the discs will last several seasons it is advisable to replace the discs at the beginning of each season, as this will prevent any disease from being transferred if present.

Marix Discs Pack/8
Marix Discs are designed to fit the 1-Pot system, the Easy2Grow Kit & the 2-Pot extension trays that extend the Easy2Grow Kit. The discs are black in color and are placed inside the pot.

The purpose of the Marix Disc is to prevent compost or soil from leaving the pot, keeping the system clean & the AQUAvalve free from debris. They will also provide minimal protection from escaping roots. Although the Marix Discs will last several seasons it is advisable to replace the discs at the beginning of each season, as this will prevent any disease from being transferred if present.
