Pure Neem Oil
by Dyna-Gro
The effectiveness of Neem Oil is based on several modes of action. It disrupts insects' hormonal balance so they die before they molt to the next life stage. Neem Oil suppresses some insects' desire to feed and also repels in areas that have been sprayed. |
These different modes of action result in broad spectrum control of the majority of insects that harm your yard and garden. Neem Oil spares many beneficial insects such as honey bees and lady bugs that prey on undesirable insects. Without beneficial insects to control pest populations, plants are even more vulnerable to new infestations.
Neem-based products have been extensively tested and used as effective insecticides in commercial greenhouses. The Neem seed has been the subject of extensive testing throughout the world since World War II. Neem has been tested at major universities throughout the U.S. since 1982. Pure Neem Oil is completely organic and is not diluted with other ingredients. It comes from the neem tree, a renewable resource. The neem tree is native to India, Africa and several other tropical countries. You can learn more about Neem Oil at The Neem Foundation.

Schultz Garden Safe
Fungicide 3
Fungicide, Insecticide, Miticide
Garden Safe Fungicide 3 is a neem oil spray that is 3 garden products in one! Organic neem oil is an effective preventative control of most common garden fungus diseases like black spot on roses, rusts, powdery mildew, leafspot, blight and others. It is also a widely-recommended component of IPM control for plant-damaging insects and mites. Not only does it kill most common soft-bodied pest insects and mites instantly, but it actually discourages newcomers from feeding on treated plants. Plus, most insect pests don't develop resistance or immunity to Fungicide3 over time, as often occurs with many insecticides. |
Fungicide3 is completely non-toxic to humans, pets, birds and other animals, and it is harmless to beneficial predator insects that visit treated plants. It is gentle on the environment, too, biodegrading into harmless components in 2-3 weeks.
Most effective when applied in early to mid-moring or late afternoon when adult pests are normally sedentary on the undersides of foliage. Do not apply to wilted or otherwise stressed plants, or to newly transplanted material prior to root establishment. |
As with other pest control products, care should be exercised in timing applications to early morning or late evening to minimize the potential for leaf burn. Use with care on plants with tender tissue. Check for leaf burn in small-scale trials prior to use.
Fungicide3 may be used on all roses, flowers, houseplants, ornamental trees and shrubs, fruits, nuts, and vegetables grown to and around the home and home garden. It is an effective fungicide for the prevention and control of various fungal disease including black spot on roses, powdery mildew, anthracnose, rust leaf spot, botrytis, needle rust, scab, and flower, twig and tip blight.
For the control of whiteflies, mealybugs, army worms, hornworms, leafhoppers, bagworms, leafminers, psyllids, fruit flies, loopers, budworms, beetles (including Japanese beetles), aphids, scales, caterpillars, midges, budworms, and mites (including spider mites), plus other insect pests.
As a preventative fungicide, apply once every 7 to 14 days until the potential for disease development is no longer present. Spray to run off. Complete coverage of all plant tissue is necessary for control. To control disease already present, apply once every 7 days until disease pressure is eliminated. Then continue spraying once every 14 days to prevent the disease from recurring. To prevent rust, leaf spot diseases, anthracnose, and scab, begin applications at the first sign of spring budding. To prevent powdery mildew, apply in mid-summer or when disease is first detected. Applications should continue until disease pressure no longer exists. To prevent black spot on roses, applications should begin at first bud emergence in spring. Apply once every 14 days through the spring and fall to prevent disease emergence.
As an insecticide and miticide, apply at the first sign of insects/mites. Fungicide3 is most effective in controlling insects/mites when applied once every 7 to 14 days. For heavy insect populations, apply once every 7 days. Spray to run off. Complete coverage of all plant tissue is necessary for control. Available in convenient 24 ounce ready-to-use sprayer or economical 20 fluid ounce concentrate. Ready to us contains 0.9% Clarified Hydrophobic Extract of Neem Oil; 99.1% Inert Ingredients. Concentrate contains 70% Clarified Hydrophobic Extract of Neem Oil; 30% Inert Ingredients. |
