Sun System® 1 Remote Ballasts come ready to use in either metal halide (MH) or high pressure sodium (HPS) configurations. Metal Halide remote ballasts are available in 400 and 1000 watt versions, while HP Sodium remote ballasts are available in 400, 600 and 1000 watt versions.

Divided into two completely separated compartments, the magnetic ballast core is contained in one compartment, while the capacitor and ignitor are physically separated in the other.
