Divided into two completely separated compartments, the magnetic ballast core is contained in one compartment, while the capacitor and ignitor are physically separated in the other.
This exclusive arrangement protects these critical components from the damaging heat of the ballast core which insures reliability while significantly increasing the lifespan of the unit.
Also featured on this well designed unit is Sunlight Supply's exclusive Power Pointer, which makes it easy to switch from 120 volt to 240 volt power. Simply unplug the detachable 120V Smart Volt cord (included), turn the Power Pointer arrow down for 240V power and plug in the 240V Smart Volt cord (optional). That's it!
