Avant-Gardening:
Creative Organic Gardening
Giannangelo Farms Southwest is a collection of sustainable formal/patterned raised bed organic gardens located near El Morro National Monument, east of Ramah, in Northwestern New Mexico. We grow in a challenging high altitude (7300') desert environment, requiring a great deal of innovation, and persistence. Our gardens feature perennial and annual culinary kitchen and medicinal herbs - for teas, dried herbs, and potpourri; many varieties of lettuces and salad greens, kale, root vegetables, fruit trees, onions, garlic, perennial and annual flowers, edible flowers, an asparagus bed, trellises, pools, and goldfish ponds. All of the gardens have been planted to encourage wildlife - birds, frogs and toads, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects.

Going Organic
Organic Gardening Made Easy!
A wonderful organic site by Jay North, known as one of the "Edible Flower Children", whose "...desire and goal is to teach everyone who is interested in a healthier way to grow food and ornamental plants how to start out and how to make their endeavor profitable - whether for their own family or for thousands of buyers around the globe. When people learn the benefits of not only farming, but growing organically, they will wonder why anyone ever suggested the first chemical product for our gardens."
