Metal Halide (MH) HID Bulbs
High intensity discharge bulbs are system specific. They should not be burned in any fixture other than the one they were designed for. You cannot use these bulbs in standard lamps. Except for special conversion bulbs, metal halide bulbs can only be burned in a metal halide fixture of the same wattage.

Bulbs on this page will fit in fixtures with a mogul (large size) socket only.

SunMaster^TM Cool Deluxe lamps surpass many other HID sources in PAR watts - the most objective measurement of total light energy available for photosynthesis.

Available in 400 and 1000 watt universal burning versions, these bulbs are for use in equivalent wattage metal halide fixtures equipped with a mogul socket.
