Rich in humic acid and mycorrhizae, Happy Frog® Jump Start Fertilizer is precisely designed for transplanting seedlings and repotting established container plantings. This gentle formula is high in phosphorus which encourages healthy root development. It also contains calcium which buffers acidic soils and boosts the plant's ability to fight off disease.
All Happy Frog® formulations contain powerful root stimulators called mycorrhizae fungi. Mycorrhizae occur naturally in forest soils where the humus content is high and the soil is thriving with microbial life. Once in contact with a plant's root system, mycorrhizae go to work right away colonizing directly onto the roots. This activity dramatically expands both primary and secondary root development enabling the plant to take up more nutrients.
Guaranteed analysis of 3.00% Water Insoluble Nitrogen; 4.00% Available Phosphoric Acid; 3.00% Soluble Potash; 7.55% Calcium; and .59% Water Soluble Magnesium derived from feather meal, bone meal, hydrolyzed fish, fish meal, fish bone meal, sulfate of potash magnesia, blood meal, bat guano, rock phosphate, kelp meal, and gypsum. Also contains 1.5% humic acid (derived from Leonardite) and Mychorrhizae. Presently available in a 4 pound (1.8kg) easy pour box.
For new container plants, add 2 tablespoons of Happy Frog Jump Start Starter Fertilizer per gallon of soil. Fill container with mixture and set plant at appropriate height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant and remove air gaps, then water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® Fertilizer specifically formulated for your individual plant's needs.
For new in ground plantings and individual plants, add 1-2 tablespoons of Happy Frog® Jump Start Starter Fertilizer per gallon of native soil. Place plant into ground at appropriate height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant, then water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® Fertilizer specifically formulated for your individual plant's needs.
For new row plantings, prepare soil with compost and add 1 cup of Happy Frog® Jump Start Starter Fertilizer per 10 square feet of planting area. Till to a depth of 8 to 12 inches. Place plants into ground at appropriate height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant, then water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® or other fertilizer specifically formulated for your individual plant's needs. |

Clonex® Clone Solution contains specific micro nutrients and root enhancing agents, carefully formulated to initiate and nourish new root cells.
Unlike competitive products, Clonex® Clone Solution is highly concentrated. For general use, dilute at a rate of 10ml (2 teaspoons) Clonex Clone Solution per 1 liter (1 quart) of water or 2 1/2 tablespoons per gallon.
After mixing, adjust pH to appropriate level (5.5 to 6.5). Soak rooting media. Allow for adequate drainage to avoid water logging. Continue with the above dilution rate throughout the entire propagation cycle. Moisten rooting media every second day or as needed.
For foliar use, dilute at a rate of 5ml (1 teaspoon) per liter (quart) of water. Spray in low light conditions to avoid leaf burn. Best results are achieved when applied prior to the onset of "light" hours. Use every second day. Use freshly diluted solution only with each application.

CANNA® Start

CANNA Start is a unique, balanced, one-part nutrient to meet the needs of seedlings and rooted cuttings. CANNA start gives you all the primary, secondary and micro nutrients for a cutting or seedling to develop into a strong healthy plant. CANNA start is a nutrient (not an additive for root development) and can be combined perfectly with a root stimulator like CANNA RHIZOTONIC.
Cuttings and seedlings have different needs than established plants. Therefore a normal nutrient for the vegetative stage is not suitable for cuttings and seedlings because you run the risk of overfeeding. |

Diluting a vegetative nutrient to make it more suitable for cuttings and seedlings isn't the answer. Such a dilution doesn't contain enough micro and macro elements. This causes yellowing of the plant material; not a good start for your crop. To ultimately achieve strong, healthy plants at the end you have to start off right at the very beginning. That's why CANNA developed CANNA Start; to get the exact ratio of all nutritional elements right for cuttings and seedlings.
CANNA Start is meant for use on various propagation substrated like Rockwool plugs, coco pellets, jiffy plugs, seedmixes and most other propogation mediums. It is suitable for use on all propogation media with the exception of re-circulating systems and clone machines.
CANNA Start is perferct for growers that grow from seeds, take their own cuttings, or put their cuttings in small pots first, before transplanting them into the final medium.
Shake bottle well before use. Fill nutrient reservoir with water. Add CANNA Start to the nutrient reservoir with the dilution ratio 1:250 (40ml/10Liter or 15 ml/Gal). The EC of CANNA Start dissolved in (tap) water varies between 0.7 - 1.3 mS (= the solution EC + the water EC). Recommended pH: 5.2 - 6.2. Make sure there is sufficient drainage if hand watering (10%).
