Extremely dark and rich in texture, tests have shown the nitrogen content to be 5 times greater than ordinary topsoil, the phosphate 7 times greater, potash 11 times, and magnesium 3 times. Castings will not burn even when applied directly to the most delicate plants. Definitely the finest soil conditioner available.

For potting mixes: Blend one part worm castings to 2 or 3 parts soilless or potting mix.
Outdoors: Use as a topdressing on lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, vegetables... any plant you can think of. Top with between one and three inches of castings annually.
Houseplants: Add 1 inch of worm castings to the top of houseplants every six months.
Liquid Tea: Mix 1 part castings in 2 parts water and let steep for at least 1 week. Dilute further by doubling the amount of water and stir before using. Works great for the fruiting and flowering stages of plant growth. |
