With the Wonderlite, plants thrive and bloom like never before! Wonderlite promotes healthy plant growth and abundant flowering due to its unique spectral distribution. This lamp provides an excellent balance of blue, red, and far-red wavelengths in the visible light spectrum (440, 660, and 740 nanometers), providing more than 90% of plants' requirements in these areas.
Wonderlite's wide spectrum is achieved through a special combination of mercury-arc tube, phosphor-coated glass and incandescent filament. Its spectrum is close to natural daylight in color and it is complementary to household incandescent lighting.
The Wonderlite is a self-ballasted bulb that can be used in standard incandescent sockets. The 160 watt Wonderlite produces 3,200 lumens of light and should be placed between 1 and 3 feet above plants, depending on the variety. Wonderlite has a rated life span of 10,000 hours and a 1 year unconditional warranty against failure. |
