These compact, yet powerful single unit HID indoor plant grow lights are ideal for compact growing applications, and work well for seed germination, over or under greenhouse benches, single plant applications, over windows, wherever you need extra light for plants.
The Sun System® 2 Switchable MH/HPS Grow Light Fixtures combine the ballast components and reflector into a single compact unit, much like a shop light. Available in a 250 watt and 400 watt version, in your choice of standard or premium horticultural bulbs, each will safely use either a metal halide (MH) or a high pressure sodium (HPS) bulb of an equivalent wattage merely by flicking a switch and changing to your desired type of bulb.
The 250 watt version covers a primary growing area up to 3 feet square or a supplemental area up to 4 feet square. The 400 watt version will cover up to a 4 foot by 4 foot growing area for primary applications or a 5 foot by 5 foot area for supplemental lighting. |

An easy slide-in tempered lens (included) helps keep the bulb clean and cooling efficiency high when used with the optional 4-inch duct fittings and an optional exhaust cooling fan.
This highly sought after cooling option allows you to easily redirect or exhaust excess heat using standard 4-inch diameter ducting.

Sun System® 2 Switchable MH/HPS Compact Grow Light fixtures feature a steel powder coated housing with a highly reflective pebbled German aluminum interior for maximum light reflectivity to your plants. The vented housing helps to dissapate excess heat and has an 8-foot long grounded power cord and an integrated backlit on/off switch for easy operation.
