To use the Dramm SyphonjectTM Siphon Mixer, you must first determine how much solution you will need. Certain fertilizers require an application of a specific amount of product over a specified area. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Prepare a water and fertilizer solution that is 16 times stronger than the rate normally used. For each gallon of water used in your solution, mix in 16 times the manufacturer's recommended rate of fertilizer. For each gallon of concentrated solution you prepare, your Dramm SyphonjectTM Siphon Mixer will apply 16 gallons of correctly diluted solution.
As an example, if your fertilizer directions tell you to dilute one ounce of fertilizer with one gallon of water, you will need to add 16 ounces of fertilizer to one gallon of water to make the concentrate solution. |

The Dramm SyphonjectTM Siphon Mixer connects directly to any outdoor faucet. Connect your garden hose (no longer than 50 feet) to the siphon mixer. With the flexible suction hose connected to the siphon mixer, drop the filter end of the suction hose (looks like a spring) into the bucket of concentrated solution. Turn the water faucet all the way on. You should be able to draw one gallon of concentrate from the solution bucket in about 5 minutes of continuous watering with average water pressure.

organic or up to five pounds of any dry, water-soluble fertilizer and the rest is automatic. It can attach to a hose bib faucet so the tank doesn't have to be carried with the hose when feeding. The system feeds through all hose end sprayers, sprinklers or drip systems. The dilution rate is completely adjustable, so you can feed in minutes on the fast setting or for months on the slow setting (every time you water). Mixing ratio is constant even with changes in the flow rate or water pressure, as low as 2.5 gallons per hour and 5 pounds per square inch (PSI) of pressure. You can see the fertilizer flow through the clear tubing on the cap as it's distributed through the watering system. Maximum tank operating pressure is 80 PSI.
No more mixing, measuring or burning! One pound of fertilizer applied the E-Z Flo way can do as much as 5 pounds applied in dry form. Because the fertilizer isn't diluted the 3/4 gallon tank will feed the average landscape for up to two months. The fertilizer mixing can be adjusted so 1 gallon of fertilizer is distributed in as little as 50 to as much as 2,000 gallons of water or any point in between. E-Z Flo applies fertilizer and other plant care products in liquid form, allowing the plants to absorb the nutrients immediately through the leaves and roots, so immediate results are seen.
Unit includes a hose bib connector (pictured) for garden hose or drip tube connection, and all the fittings and tubing for connection directly to a drip system. |
