Thirsty Light
Digital Moisture Monitor
Improper watering kills or injures houseplants more often than any other cause. Overwatering is just as harmful as under-watering. The Thirsty Light is designed to help you monitor your plant's moisture level so that you know when it's time to water.
The Thirsty Light can be used in two ways. First, the Thirsty Light can be left right in the pot for continuous moisture monitoring. Alternatively, you can use the Thirsty Light as a portable moisutre measuring device by moving the probe from one plant to the next. The digital sensor tests conditions once every second, so each pot's soil moisture can be assessed quickly and accurately. |

To use the Thirsty Light, simply place the probe into the soil so that approximately one inch of the probe is above the soil line, then turn the power switch to the "On" position. The LED Alert will blink to tell you how moist or how dry the soil is.
The Thirsty Light uses Drypoint technology and has 5 levels of sensitivity that makes the LED blink faster as the soil gets drier.
When the Thirsty Light doesn't blink, the soil is moist. A regular blinking pattern indicates the soil is drying and needs to be watered. A double blink followed by a long pause indicates that the soil is completely dry and needs to be watered thoroughly.

The Accurate pH 7 pH and Moisture Meter for soil growers is now available at Home Harvest Garden Supply. Until now, soil growers with the need to keep careful tabs on the pH of their soil have had to rely on either inexpensive and less than accurate meters or meters that are very expensive and hard to find.
The Control Wizard Accurate pH 7 is the best of both worlds. It is relatively inexpensive and is manufactured to extremely high quality standards.
Operation is simple. It works by utilizing the electronic ground field effect of the earth and two dissimilar metals. No batteries are required. 6 month limited warranty.
Clean the electrodes and place the meter into the soil as shown. A pH reading is automatically displayed. Press the green button and a moisture reading is displayed. Clean the electrodes before each use.
Measures soil pH between 3.0 and 8.0 with a 0.2 resolution and accuracy to within .2 of a point. Suitable for agricultural field and classroom experiments. |
